 Once you’ve been given access to the integration, we have two routes to authorize Ashby with Microsoft 365; application-wide admin consent and individual consent.  The same permissions as listed above for application-wide admin consent would need to be given.

Microsoft Custom Applications (GCC High)

 Please note that the integrations outlined in this section are the platform integrations found in the Integration Marketplace.  Ashby also supports authentication-only integrations that enable users to log in to Ashby without a platform integration being enabled (Google Sign In, Microsoft Sign In) Ashby integrates with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 to provide features that enhance hiring speed and efficiency.

 Ashby’s integration with Slack lets your team get notifications as messages from the Ashby bot in addition to email, with minimal setup required.  Your use of Ashby’s integration with Slack is governed by the same terms and conditions as your use of other Ashby services.

 Ashby's Zoom integration allows you to add Zoom links when scheduling interviews from within Ashby.  For setup, you only need to enable the integration in Ashby, we'll come back to review the rest later.

 In this guide, we'll walk through the permissions requested for other integrations in Ashby, including the chrome extension, Slack, marketplace integrations and out developer API.  The Ashby Chrome Extension requests the following permissions for candidate sourcing Read and change data on specific sites LinkedIn Adds Ashby indicators to LinkedIn search pages but makes no other changes.

 Ashby does support connecting multiple instances (domains or tenants) of Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 within a single Ashby account.  However, these instances are treated independently and do not behave as a unified system.

Does Ashby support integrating with multiple instances of Google Workspace or Microsoft 365?

 Ashby integrates with your email and calendar to allow you to act as if you were working directly in Gmail or Outlook.  That means scheduling a meeting in Ashby is like doing it from your Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook.

Does Ashby support integrating with both Google and Microsoft at the same time?

 If you see the above error, confirm that the credentials you're using as part of the integration configuration are valid and have the appropriate permissions to use the integration.  Please review the setup information for the integration in question to confirm the permissions required.

The openings feature in Ashby lets you track your open headcount and hiring goals as well as metrics for each individual headcount accurately. You can assign multiple openings to a single job.

Schedule interview activities can be set up within each stage of your job’s interview plan. These activities allow you to select an interview type, interviewers and set the interview’s settings in advance.

The candidate’s application or consideration for a role. A candidate can have multiple job considerations on their profile, as you can consider a candidate for as many roles as you’d like.

A job board that can only be accessed by users logged into Ashby. The job board or boards your jobs are posted to are selected within the job posting settings.

Set within a job’s Settings section, users added here will receive notifications about the role they’ve been assigned to. The types of notifications they receive will be based on their Notifications settings within Personal Settings.

Determine if and when users can view feedback based on their access role.

The users in your Ashby account. Employees can be provisioned automatically via the Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 integration or be added manually. They will be provisioned with Limited Access permissions initially.

Settings to determine if emails sent to and from the candidate are hidden when in the Offer or Hired stages. Can also skip email syncing for hired candidates and for those considered for confidential jobs.

email_visibility

A survey with set wording and questions that candidates can fill out voluntarily. This survey can be added to the application tab of your job postings, be sent out manually or you can create automation rules to send it out automatically.

EEOC_Survey

Reports that are sent to you regularly with information about upcoming interviews or overdue tasks. Can be set up in Personal Settings > Notifications.

digests

The color palette used for all reports and dashboards. The chosen color customization will be applied across the organization for all users.

default_visualization_colors

Dashboards allow you to add multiple reports to one page for easy viewing. You can also add filters to dashboards and link them to each report to filter all reports down without amending each of them individually.

Links that you can add to external job board postings to automatically add a specific source to a candidate’s application.
