Does Ashby support integrating with both Google and Microsoft at the same time?

ashby currently supports deep integration with either google workspace or microsoft 365 but not both simultaneously your team can only configure one of these platforms under admin > integrations > integrations > platform while users from both systems can still collaborate meaningfully in ashby, full email and calendar functionality is limited to whichever platform is officially integrated we strongly recommend aligning your team on a single platform (google or microsoft) to ensure smooth and reliable functionality why can’t these platforms co exist in ashby? ashby integrates with your email and calendar to allow you to act as if you were working directly in gmail or outlook that means scheduling a meeting in ashby is like doing it from your google calendar or microsoft outlook since these systems don’t natively allow scheduling or emailing on behalf of users from the other platform, ashby isn’t able to either in short, if it doesn’t work in google or microsoft natively, it will not work in ashby what can users from both platforms do? regardless of the integration chosen, both google and microsoft users can log in to ashby leave interview feedback submit referrals create and edit jobs review applications view candidate profiles and leave notes build and view reports and dashboards permissions dependent for more on access roles check out docid\ i5jhibmkqhyobnnvrl8rk what can’t users from both platforms do? cross platform limitations include google users can’t schedule events for microsoft users, and vice versa google users can’t send emails on behalf of microsoft users, and vice versa google calendar events can not have microsoft teams links embedded as the location microsoft outlook calendar events can not have google meet links embedded as the location these restrictions reflect how google and microsoft work natively ashby mirrors those constraints to preserve calendar and email security i use microsoft, but my team uses google what should i expect? while individuals can technically connect their own microsoft or google accounts via oauth in personal settings, this setup isn’t supported when it differs from the team’s main integration you may run into issues with scheduling calendar events for colleagues sending emails on behalf of colleagues i was able to get this working for my use case there are cases where customers have found or were previously recommended workarounds as of 2025, ashby does not offer or recommend these workarounds, as they can result in unexpected issues for customers if an issue related to one of these workarounds arises in the future, we can not guarantee a solution will this change in the future? this is unlikely as this is the intended behavior of this feature these restrictions reflect how google and microsoft work natively and ashby mirrors those constraints to preserve calendar and email security
