Importing interviewer tags from Goodtime
Goodtime Interviewer Tags can be imported into Ashby as Interviewer Pools using the Employee Bulk Import tool. See Bulk Import Options for more details on how bulk importing works.
CSV Import Overview
The CSV Import feature supports creating candidate profiles, openings, and employees in bulk by uploading a CSV file containing the details you want to be uploaded. There is no explicit limit to the number of candidates, openings, or employees that can be uploaded at once. Large files will be uploaded in batches. Once the upload starts, you can leave the page and return it when it is complete. Common use cases for this feature include:
- Importing candidates from a legacy ATS
- Importing headcount planning data
- Importing employee tags from a legacy scheduling tool
Importing Employees
The Employee Import is intended for importing key interviewer information into Employee profiles, including:
- Email (this field is required to accurately match data to the correct profile)
- Custom Fields (learn more in Custom Fields )
- Job Title
- LinkedIn URL
- Daily Interview Limit
- Weekly Interview Limit
- Interviewer Pools (learn more in Interviewer Training)

Formatting Goodtime Data
To import employee tags into Ashby, you’ll want each employee to be contained in a single row and tags to be stored as comma-separated values. Your spreadsheet should look like this before exporting to CSV:

The following table outlines all supported Employee Import fields; only email and tags are required to add users to Pools from GoodTime.
