Candidate Reviews let you create review requests and assign them to users to gather feedback on candidates or leads across multiple workflows, including projects, candidate searches, events, sourcing forms, and a job's candidate pipeline. You can also request feedback on active candidates already moving through a job's hiring process.

Candidate review requests are available on the Foundations, Legacy Plus, Plus, and Enterprise plans:

Review requests can be sent while viewing candidates in projects or from within a Candidate SearchCandidate Search, from the audience list on an event, from the submissions list for a sourcing form, and from the candidate pipeline for a job. You can also create new review requests from the list of candidates in the Review section of an existing candidate review.

Like any other bulk action, select the candidates you would like to request a review for using the checkboxes to the left of their name. Then click Request Review from the bulk actions list.

In the request review wizard, complete the following fields:

Then click Send Request to confirm and send the request to the assigned user.

Once a user has been assigned a candidate review, it appears as a task on their home page. Click Start Review to view candidate details, add a score, and write any notes.

You can also access candidate reviews in Sourcing > Candidate Reviews. Click on the review in question to open the list of candidates to be reviewed.

To complete the review, click Submit. If multiple reviews are being completed in the same session, this button automatically moves the reviewer to the next candidate.

To exit the review screen, close the window or press ESC on your keyboard. The review screen also closes automatically once all reviews have been submitted.

The reviewer is then returned to the review page, which lists all candidates in the review along with their information and any feedback scores or notes. If all reviews have been completed, the review automatically updates to Completed.

To mark all candidates as reviewed — even if not all reviews have been submitted — click the status drop-down under the review title and select Complete Review Request.

Once the review status is set to Complete, a notification is sent to the review requester and the reviewer can no longer submit additional reviews.

To view all candidate reviews and their status, navigate to Sourcing > Candidate Reviews .

By default, you see all requested reviews listed, along with their status, reviewer, requester, the request notes, and the timestamp showing when the request was submitted.

Click on a review to view a list of all the candidates included in that review, along with their scores and notes.

Candidates can be sorted alphabetically or reverse-alphabetically by name, or by score (ascending or descending). Click the field you'd like to sort by to make adjustments.

The results — showing the number of candidates reviewed, the average score, and the Approved rate (the percentage of candidates that scored 3 or higher) — are displayed on the right-hand side of the list.

To generate an AI summary of the feedback given in a candidate review request, navigate to Admin > Organization Setup > Opt-In Features  and enable the AI-Generated Candidate Review Summary option.

Once a candidate review is complete, the summary is generated and displayed under the review results. Click on each theme listed to view the review that prompted the theme, along with the score and relevant note.
