Setting up Greenhouse Webhooks
Setting up webhooks allows certain types of events to be populated from Greenhouse to Ashby in real time. Webhooks are used in the migration and integration setup process.
Creating a webhook in Greenhouse
- Open settings, go to Dev Center, and select Webhooks
- Next, select the first Webhooks option
- Create a new Webhook for all the events that should be sent to Ashby
For the URL and secret key fields, use the values found at this link.
Webhooks should be created for the following events:
- Delete Candidate
- Merged Candidate
- Candidate has changed stage
- Candidate hired
- Candidate unhired
- Candidate anonymized
- Candidate or Prospect has been rejected
- Candidate or Prospect has been unrejected
- Delete Application
- Interview Deleted
- Offer Deleted
- Scorecard Deleted
- Department Deleted
- Office Deleted
- Job Updated
- Job Deleted
What should I put for the Error recipient email?
This field is not required, so you can leave it blank or enter your own email to be informed of any webhook event failures. Webhook failures should be very rare, and you are encouraged to send them to Greenhouse support for review and, optionally, to Ashby support for consideration.
All webhooks should use the same endpoint URL and secret, which are available at this link.
