this guide walks you through setting up an assessment integration on an interview plan you learn how to add an assessment activity to a stage of an interview plan, configure reviewers, and start an assessment for a candidate this article uses codesignal and bryq as the example integrations, but the workflow is the same for all assessment partners prerequisites you need an active integration with your assessment partner before you can configure the activities in ashby set up an assessment activity the first step is to add an assessment to an interview plan to do this, choose a job go to jobs > jobs select a job you would like to add an assessment to on the job page, choose interview plan on the left side on the next screen, add your assessment as an activity to a stage of the interview plan click add activity to on the stage of the interview plan you want to create the activity for, then click + add activity if you have any configured, your assessment integrations appear in the integrations section in the add activity list select an assessment integration, then choose the assessment type from the dropdown on the next screen the list in the dropdown is pulled from your account with the assessment partner (for example, the list of available codesignal tests in your codesignal account) once you select an assessment type, you can configure reviewers on the added activity reviewers added here are notified to leave feedback on the assessment (just like a take home or scheduled interview) when ashby is notified that the assessment is complete reviewers are not required the following page will allow you to set the assessment type and reviewers start the assessment once a candidate moves to the stage of the interview plan where you added the assessment activity, a new start assessment button appears on the candidate's profile click it to open a modal, where you can adjust, one final time, the kind of assessment type (from the configured assessment partner) that the candidate takes the activity to start the assessment will show on the candidate's profile once they've been moved to the stage the activity is in once you start the assessment, the assessment partner notifies the candidate, and ashby displays updates in the dropdown here's what a completed assessment looks like once the assessment has been completed, a link and the session details will show in the activity details for a full list of assessment integration options, check out the assessments https //docs ashbyhq com/assessments category
