# Requesting access to send emails as other Ashby users

:::hint{type="warning"}
The employee whose email is being shared must have the Ashby `Can Email/Schedule Candidate` permission. When an email is sent on behalf of another user, the candidate’s reply goes to the inbox of the user whose email address was used. See [Manage Access Roles](docId\:be1Gtv2R0jGx_Do5mdNR_) for more information on user permissions.
