This guide will walk you through integrating your Ezra AI Labs account with Ashby. Ezra AI Labs provides AI-powered recruiting tools, and this integration allows candidate data to flow into Ashby.

## Integration Overview

Ezra AI Labs integrates natively with Ashby as an assessment provider.

With this integration, recruiters can:

- Launch Ezra AI screening interviews directly from a candidate’s profile in Ashby
- Automatically send interview invitations to candidates
- View interview scores and results directly within Ashby, without switching tools

Candidate data flows securely between Ashby and Ezra AI Labs to support a streamlined screening workflow.

## Set up the Integration

Before getting started, make sure you have:

1. An active Ashby account with organizational admin permissions
2. An Ezra AI Labs recruiter account
3. Permission to create API keys in Ashby

### Register for an Ezra AI Labs Recruiter Account

To get started with Ezra AI Labs:

1. Email support\@ezraailabs.tech to request a recruiter account
2. The Ezra team will help onboard you and prepare your account for integration with Ashby

### Configure the Integration in Ashby

**Create an Ashby API Key**

1. In Ashby, go to `Admin → Integrations →`**[`API Keys`](https://app.ashbyhq.com/admin/api/keys)**
2. Click `+ New`
3. Configure the API key with the following permissions:
   - **Job postings**: Read
   - **Candidates**: Read / Write
4. Give the key a clear name (for example, EzraAIKey)
5. Under `Integration Partner`**,** find "Ezra AI Labs"
6. Click `Create API Key`

Be prepared to save your API Key to a safe place - you'll only have one opportunity to copy it.

### Connect the API Key to Ezra

1. Go to` Admin → Integrations → Integrations`
2. Find **[Ezra AI Labs ](https://app.ashbyhq.com/admin/integrations/marketplace/ezra-ai-labs)**and click `+ Enable Ezra AI Labs`
3. Enter your `Ezra AI Labs API Key`
4. Under `Ashby API Key`, select the key you just created

##  Add an Ezra Assessment to an Interview Plan

1. Open a job in Ashby
2. Navigate to `Settings → Interview Plan`
3. Choose the interview stage where you want to add the Ezra assessment
4. Click `Add Activity to [stage name]`
5. In the right-hand panel:
   - Under `Integrations`, choose `Ezra AI Labs`
   - Click `Select Assessment Type`
   - Choose`Ezra Screening Interview`
   - Click `Add`

Once added, candidates who reach this stage will be eligible for an Ezra screening interview.

## Start an Ezra Screening Interview for a Candidate

When a candidate reaches the stage with the Ezra assessment:

1. Open the candidate’s profile from the interview pipeline
2. Locate `Ezra AI Labs Assessment `under `Current Activities`
3. Click `Start Assessment`
4. Expand the menu and select `Show Invitation URL`
5. Copy the generated URL (for example\:https\://app.ezraailabs.tech/signup?redirectType=...)
6. Send the URL to the candidate

If you’d like Ezra interviews to be sent automatically when a candidate reaches this stage, contact **support\@ezraailabs.tech** to enable automation.

## View Assessment Results in Ashby

After the candidate completes their Ezra interview:

1. Results automatically sync back to Ashby
2. On the candidate profile, expand `Ezra AI Labs Assessment `to view:
   - Overall interview score
   - Additional assessment details
   - A direct link to the full Ezra interview report
