Can I transfer a candidate’s job consideration to another job or interview plan?

you can! this section covers using the transfer option to move an existing active job consideration on a candidate’s profile to a new job or interview plan please note that if transferring the candidate to another job, the job must be open overview ashby allows users to transfer applications to a different job and/or interview plan this can be useful when you've decided that a candidate is a better fit for a different role or should evaluated through an alternate interview plan how to transfer an application there are two ways to initiate a transfer candidate profile you can find the transfer option under the more dropdown on a candidate profile you’ll then be able to specify the job and stage of the interview plan candidates will be transferred to screen shot 2021 12 08 at 4 54 12 pm png candidate pipeline / job pipeline using the select option, select one or more candidates that you’d like to transfer to another job from there, you can click the more button and select transfer from the dropdown once selected, you can specify the job, and the interview stage you’d like candidates to be transferred to you will also have the option to override the attribution fields (source and credited to ) once you’ve configured your transfer, click start what happens when i transfer an application? when you transfer an application in ashby to another job pipeline, we retain all historical information on the application history that means on the candidate profile you'll be able to see all of the details prior to the change we also retain any notes, application forms, completed surveys, feedback forms and referral forms, so if the candidate is moved to a new job via the transfer option, you won’t lose that data for reporting, since we retain all the application history, your time in process, time to hire and time to offer calculations will continue to be accurate for transferred candidates any scheduled and upcoming activities such as interviews, take home activities, etc will still be scheduled after a transfer you may delete any activities you won't need manually before transferring an application in terms of the job consideration’s hiring team, this will be overwritten and the job consideration will take on the hiring team of the job that the candidate is transferred into how do i remove or reject a candidate from a job consideration? while viewing the job consideration on the candidate profile, click the archive button you can then select an archive reason and optionally schedule a rejection email to be sent to the candidate
