Betterleap is an AI copilot that helps recruiters 10x their productivity by streamlining sourcing, automating outreach, and leveraging ATS integrations for data analysis.

## What does the integration do?

Connecting Ashby to Betterleap ensures that your data is in sync between both platforms:

1. All candidates that are sourced on Betterleap or via Betterleap Chrome extension will be automatically added to Ashby.
2. You will be able to source from candidates and leads in Ashby directly on Betterleap using advanced filters.

## How to set up the integration

To enable the integration, you will need to create an API key in Ashby. You can create an API key by heading to Admin> Integrations> [API keys](https://app.ashbyhq.com/admin/api/keys).

Click New to create a new API key, name your key and then click `Create API key`.

Be sure to take a copy of the key before closing out the pop-up.

In Betterleap, head to the Settings page, then click `Connect ATS`.

On the Select Integration page, select Ashby.

You’ll then be asked to add in your Ashby API key. Once added, click Submit and you’re good to go!

## Connecting projects in Betterleap to jobs in Ashby

1. In Betterleap, head to Projects and select the project you would like to connect to Ashby.
2. Once the ATS sync has finished, click the `Link Role` button.
3. You can then select a job in Ashby from the drop-down menu.
4. Once selected, click `Link Role` to confirm. The job title should then be listed underneath the project name in Betterleap.

### Will existing candidates in Ashby show in the Betterleap extension?

Yes! Once a candidate is sourced using the Betterleap extension, the extension will show if the candidate already exists in Ashby.

### Will Betterleap know if a candidate has already been reached out to in Ashby?

If you’ve connected your email address to Betterleap and a candidate is sent an email using that same email address in Ashby, you’ll see if an email was sent to that candidate using your email address. You’ll also be able to see if any other users in your Org have sent the candidate an email, if they’ve connected their email address to Betterleap.
